About Me

"Siobhan Caverly is immersed in her character ... Caverly's performance as a housewife who secretly dresses as L. Frank Baum's Patchwork Girl is frightening and transportive."

"As Lisa, Siobhan Caverly  keeps her acting minimal ... she
listens well, often with a
smoldering intensity."

I originally hail from northern New York State but I've lived in
beautiful Oregon long enough to have forgotten all about heat,
cold, humidity, snow, and mosquitos.

Growing up with my family's love of all the performing arts, I
began acting as a child, staging and directing plays in the family
basement, and moving on through piano lessons, school performances,
high school plays and musicals, various choirs, and college productions.
I hold a B.S. degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in my
native New York and I pursued my professional acting training in
Portland, graduating from Portland Actors Conservatory in 2000.

Ever since, I have been active on Portland stages and in local films
and commercials, earning a reputation as a versatile and completely
committed actor who gives 110% to every role.  When I am not
acting, I continue to pursue ongoing training and indulge my
habit for that other performing art form, dance.

My namesake is the Irish actress Siobhan McKenna, so while it
appears that this profession was destiny, my call to acting has been
a lifelong dream.  I hope to never wake up ...
